8-Week Nutrition Habits Challenge with a Qualified Nutritionist: Build Sustainable, Long-Lasting Results

Why We’re Launching the 8-Week Nutrition Habits Challenge at BARCH

At BARCH, we’re all about empowering our members to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident. We know that fitness isn’t just about showing up to classes—it’s about what you do outside the gym too. That’s why we’re excited to launch our 8-Week Healthy Habits Challenge, a program designed to help you build sustainable habits that support your training, energy levels, and overall health.

But we’re not stopping at workouts and tips—we’re bringing in expert guidance from Lucy, a qualified Sports Performance Nutritionist and Nutritional Therapist who’s also a valued member of the BARCH community.

Why We’re Running This Challenge

If you’ve ever followed a strict meal plan or tracked every calorie obsessively, you probably know how tough it can be to stick to those approaches long-term. They work—until they don’t. Once the plan ends, many people find themselves back where they started, frustrated and unsure what went wrong.

We believe the answer lies in habits, not hacks. This challenge is about helping you understand why you fall off track and giving you the tools to make meaningful, lasting changes to your lifestyle.

It’s not about perfection or quick fixes—it’s about creating a foundation for success that fits into your life, whether you’re juggling work, family, or other priorities.

Why We Value Proper Nutritionists

At BARCH, we believe that when it comes to nutrition, you deserve guidance from someone who knows their stuff. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Lucy, who’s not only highly qualified but also deeply connected to the BARCH ethos.

Lucy’s qualifications speak for themselves:

  • Sports Performance Nutritionist (DipIOPN)

  • Nutritional Therapist (mBANT, CNHC)

  • A degree in Sport Science from one of the world’s top sports universities.

Her expertise ranges from nutrition for sports performance to supporting mental health and teenage health, making her an invaluable resource for our members.

But what sets Lucy apart is her experience as a BARCH member. She knows our community, how we train, and what our members value. She’s worked 1-1 with many of you and understands the challenges and roadblocks you face when it comes to nutrition. With her leading this challenge, you’ll have the support of someone who truly gets it.

Why Habits Over Meal Plans?

Meal plans sound great in theory. Someone tells you exactly what to eat, and you follow the plan—simple, right? But how many times have you finished a plan only to feel lost afterward?

This happens because meal plans often don’t address the bigger picture:

  • Why do you fall off track when no one is telling you what to eat?

  • What habits will help you make better choices long-term?

  • How can you adapt your nutrition to real-life situations, like eating out or social events?

The 8-Week Nutrition Habits Challenge is about addressing these questions. It’s not about rigid rules or unrealistic expectations—it’s about helping you build skills and habits that work in your life.

What to Expect During the Challenge

  • Weekly Focus on Simple Habits:
Each week, we’ll introduce one key habit, like balancing your meals, improving hydration, or adding more vegetables to your diet.

  • Community and Accountability:
You’ll join a supportive WhatsApp group where you can share your wins, ask questions, and stay on track with the help of Lucy and your fellow members.

  • Expert Guidance:
Lucy will be there to help you navigate roadblocks, offer advice, and ensure you’re making progress toward your goals.

  • A Clear Path Forward:
By the end of the challenge, you’ll have a better understanding of what works for you and a foundation of habits to build on.

Important dates and info

  • January 13th and March 4th meet in BARCH with the group to talk about our goals and get to know people on this journey with you

  • Every Monday there will be a 30 min Zoom with Lucy at 8pm to brief last weeks habit, answer any questions and implement the new weeks habit

  • We want you to be engaging in the WhatsApp group and sharing your wins and also struggles!
