BARCH Richmond Main Classes

At BARCH. We run two core programmes/classes every day. You get the choice to do a strength class or a conditioning class every day.

We advise you to get in touch with us first, to talk about your goals, and one of our expert coaches will guide you to what would be the best programme/classes for you to reach your goals

Conditioning Classes
Focus is to increase overall strength and fitness base. This programme is perfect for the person who enjoys a mixture of lifting weights and cardio work. If you are looking for a simple programme to bolster longevity in life, this is for you.

Strength Classes
Focus is to get stronger on the main lift over the 12 week programme. Loading is moderate to very heavy. This programme is designed for the person who enjoys following a structured programme and wants to get in the strongest shape of their life and improve their personal bests.

Monday

Full Body Circuits
9 Stations. 3 times through.
3 cardio based stations, 2 upper body, 2 lower body, 1 core and a 2 minute full body finisher. 
Full body training at it's best.

Threeway
Three workouts. 3 different styles.

Functional Circuits
Think sled drags, think TRX, think heavy D Balls, battle ropes, sand bags etc. If you enjoy circuit training with variety, you will love this.

Friday

Target
2 parts to this session. Intervals at the start, heavy weighted circuit/emom to finish.
Why is it called target?
You set the target, not us. You can make it the easiest session in the world or one of the hardest, no pressure off us at all

Team BARCH
The only class we double capacity in. The Saturday sessions at BARCH are a vibe. Expect hard work and lots of team work.

Upper Body Strength
Aim is to get stronger over the main compound lift over the 12 week block, expect to see some fun upper body accessory work and leaving with a pump!

Friday

Barbell Metcon
This class is perfect for the person who loves training with a barbell, or the person who has never lifted a barbell before but wants to learn something new.

Expect to see hands on coaching on the barbell power clean variations, then using what you have learnt into a conditioning element to finish off.
