New Year, New Training Block: What’s in Store for the Next 12 Weeks
As we gear up for 2025, we’re excited to announce the launch of our next 12-week training block at BARCH Richmond, starting January 6th! Below, you’ll find the main lifts for each session and programme. These will be the constants in your training over the next three months.
Why Do We Run 12-Week Training Blocks?
At BARCH, we believe in structured, consistent programming for a reason. Our 12-week training blocks are designed to help you see measurable progress, refine your technique, and keep your training focused. Here’s why it works:

Repeating the same lifts each week allows you to build familiarity and confidence. Whether it’s back squats, deadlifts, or bench press, the more you practice, the better your technique becomes.Trackable Progress:
A longer block gives you time to truly measure improvements. Whether you’re aiming for a new PB or mastering a lift, the consistency makes it easier to see your growth over time.Master the Basics:
Strength isn’t built by constantly switching things up—it’s built by consistently showing up and working on the fundamentals. A 12-week block helps you build strong foundations that you can carry forward into the next phase.Goal-Oriented Programming:
The block is structured to align with your goals, whether you’re here to build strength, improve conditioning, or work on specialty movements like cleans, toes-to-bar, or double-unders.
What Can You Expect?
Each session is focused on one of three key areas:
Strength: Think bench press, back squats, deadlifts, and rows.
Conditioning: Incorporating functional movements like dumbbell floor presses, split squats, and goblet squats.
Specialty Work: From gymnastic skills like toes-to-bar and double-unders to barbell movements like cleans, we’re covering it all.
This structure allows you to build strength, refine your form, and challenge your fitness across multiple domains.
